Open visitors welcomed to Fife

The Welcome to Fife Pavilion hosted a series of events across the week to

promote the culture, attractions and enterprise of Fife and also catered for

a series of presentations and discussions with the region’s key stakeholders

that launched new initiatives in tourism, golf and renewable energy.

Keith Winter, Fife Council’s Head of Development Services, hosted the Pavilion and told FBM he was very focused on the benefits the event could deliver for business in Fife.

“The Open gives Fife a unique platform to promote itself. Tens of thousands of visitors give the local economy a boost, but the aim of Promoting Fife is to

achieve a sustainable, long-term economic benefi t for Fife.”
