Promoting Fife

Promoting Fife is an initiative that creates a framework for Fife’s external marketing and promotion. Its purpose is to create a perception and understanding of Fife as a great place to live, work, visit and invest

and to steer the extensive work of public and private sector organisations and

partnerships that are involved in marketing Fife to audiences in Scotland, the UK and beyond.

Promotes Fife’s quality-of-life including excellent housing, good schools, healthcare, community safety, amenities, services and facilities.

• A great place to work

Promotes Fife as a vibrant and dynamic location with fi rst-class opportunities for work and for work life balance, focusing on Fife’s culture of enterprise, employability framework and commitment to education, workforce training and skills development.

• A great place to visit

Positions Fife as a fi rst-class visitor destination highlighting particular strengths of golf, food, outdoor activities, attractions and events.

• A great place to invest

Communicates Fife’s commercial and economic capabilities and advantages

including its modern business infrastructure and sector expertise - off-shore wind, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies. It encapsulates the Fife

Economy Partnership’s guiding principal to position Fife as “the easiest place to do business.”
