It’s a double for students at Diageo

Two Adam Smith College students, Kay Brindley, 35 and Mariusz Blazejczak, 42 both from Leven were to spend eight weeks at Diageo’s bottling plant in Leven on work placement gaining an insight in all areas of production and bottling including engineering and administration.

The placement went so well that the company expanded the placements for a further eight weeks giving the two students double the experience.

John Paterson Diageo’s Site Director at Leven commented: “Giving local students the chance to improve their skills and experience benefi ts everyone - the individuals gain the experience they need and we as a company get the chance to put something back into the community and train potential future employees.”
